a Christian music artist with her wild curls and unapologetic quirk — lives to reflect Jesus in a fresh, real, relatable way. Through her emotional and soulful powerhouse vocals, Laura’s artistry is rooted in authentically connecting and encouraging anyone who crosses her path. Her debut single “Who Jesus Is”, a strong and powerful piano-based ballad, not only reflects Laura’s emotional vocal ability but also highlights the root of her ministry: “Let who I am only point to this: who Jesus is.”

 

Laura grew up being intensely bullied as well as battling an eating disorder in my teen years. She was raised in a Christian household, but fell away from the faith for a while. Laura rediscovered Jesus when she was 17, and was completely transformed in mind, heart and desires.  In April of 2022 during her senior year of high school, she was prayer journaling while attempting to decide where to go to college, and thought there was no chance of pursuing music. She vividly remembers writing, “God, put my music career into your hands, whether it’s what I want or not.” That same night, she got discovered by a talent agency that wanted to manage her full time for Christian music, and has been pursuing her career for Christ ever since. She was scouted for season 24 of NBC’s The Voice in 2023 on which she scored a 4 chair turn, and released her debut single “Who Jesus Is” the following year in July of 2024. Post The Voice, Laura has been performing anywhere and everywhere, connecting with her audience through the universal language that is music.
