Author & Bible Teacher
Mary Shannon is a powerful Bible teacher and author, whose great love for Jesus and for Scripture inspires her audience to “get their face in the Book!” Her background is rich with spiritual upbringing rooted solidly in the Bible. But as a self-professed recovering perfectionist, for much of her Christian life she was bound by a performance based theology – God’s affection and approval were contingent on toeing the line of legalism. Most comfortable in a ball cap and ripped jeans, Shannon is a mother of 2 adult children, an experienced school teacher, and a gifted story-teller with a sassy sense of humor and a fresh transparency about the messiness of life: a recipe providing her with fresh insight and ample illustrations that can make you laugh and cry as she brings the Bible to life for the ordinary person.
Dorie McLemore
Comedian
Dorie is a comedian/story-teller/joy-bringer and best-selling author who believes that caffeine is keeping her alive, popcorn should have its own food group, dry-cleaning saves marriages and that true joy comes from knowing we are worthy of God’s love in the middle of all our imperfections. She has been speaking and performing stand-up comedy since 2006 for audiences coast-to-coast and around the globe.
Lindsay McCaul
Singer/Songwriter
Lindsay is a contemporary Christian singer-songwriter from Florida. She attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, leading worship at the school and at Harvest Bible Chapel. Her first album, “If It Leads Me Back,” was released in 2012. Since then, she has released another album called “One More Step,” and has toured with top Christian artists like Casting Crowns, Matthew West, Brandon Heath and Mandisa. She is a wife, a mom of two, and a follower and worshipper of Jesus.
