Melissa is madly in love with Jesus and addicted to the study of His word. She is passionate about knowing and inspiring other women to seek Him by opening their ears to listen to His Spirit, reading His Word curiously, asking questions and clinging tightly to God through the storms of life. As a wife to Sean, and mother of four great kids, she works out her faith on a daily basis always in need of God’s Word to draw her back to the things of first importance.

Allison Allen has always relished the power of story and the thrill of walking in the shoes of others. With nearly three decades of speaking, acting and writing under her belt, Allison loves weaving Biblical teaching and narrative together in unexpected ways for audiences of all sizes, from social media to podcasting to in-person events. Since 2022, Allison has also served as “wing-woman” to beloved Bible teacher (and dear friend) Lisa Harper on her popular Back Porch Theology podcast, where the goal is to help people understand Biblical truth in a “substantive but not stuffy” way. Allison’s two nationally published books, Shine and Thirsty for More (Revell), take readers into Allison’s own experiences with the ups and downs of pursuing God’s purpose for our lives, navigating dry seasons, and finding the beauty in hidden moments, even when they linger longer than we want them to.
Amberly Neese
Author & Bible Teacher
Amberly Neese is a speaker, comedian, and author with a passion for “GRINspiring” others. She has won hearts (and funny bones) of people all over the country at various retreats, conferences, and fundraisers. Amberly received her Master’s degree from Biola University and now serves as a professor at both Embry-Riddle Aeronautical and Grand Canyon Universities. Amberly has a heart for connecting others to God and to one another. Her three most current bible studies are “The Belonging Project” (guidelines to help you thrive in biblical community), “Common Ground” (strategies to help you navigate sticky relationships), and her latest, “Untangling Faith” (approaches to tackle deep spiritual questions by looking at the questions of Jesus). In addition, her popular devotional, “The Friendship Initiative: Loving and Connecting Like Jesus” provides new strategies for making friendships. Amberly is a featured comedian and speaker for both Aspire and Aspire tours. She and her husband have two adult children and live in Prescott, Arizona, where they enjoy the great outdoors, the Food Network, and all things Star Wars.
