Here we are. Ready to go. Excited for this, our fourth year of connecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ with women across the country.
As I talk with different Aspire team members, the sentiment is the same… we cannot wait to see what God does this year. Each year we become more dedicated, more on fire and more willing and ready to go.
This afternoon my husband and I were discussing the crazy turns our lives have taken that brought two Chicago suburb kids all the way out to Phoenix, AZ just to be sent back out to do His work. My husband, Bob, made the statement that He’s not going out into the world, to which I quickly shifted the perspective by stating that the world comes to him.
You see, my husband is an Executive Director/Principal of a small Christian High School here in the Phoenix area. And by Christian, I mean the teachers love the Lord, love the Word and speak His Truth boldly and unashamedly. Many student have grown up in Christian homes, but a portion of the student population and their families are unchurched, non-believing and far from the Lord.
While my husband may not travel the country to share the Good News, the world, the broken, the hurting and the needy all come to him, knocking at his door…literally.
My encouragement to you is this, whether God is sending you out, sending you in, sending people to your door, or just asking you to open your eyes to the possibilities in front of you, respond with a resounding YES!
Say Yes to all that God has for you. Your family, your friends, your neighbors and coworkers need to see Jesus. And the crazy part about it is that they see Jesus through YOU! How cool is that! You have been called, so go, even if going isn’t very far.
“Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14
I hope to see you when we get to your town. We have a great Spring Aspire Tour 2017 schedule and a wonderful Fall 2107 schedule in the works that I can’t wait to tell you about. Maybe we will come to your town if we are not already. Sometimes, all it takes is someone like YOU that says…”Come to my church and let’s do this together.”
Love you in the Lord and I can’t wait to see you face to face!
